Escuelita's is great!!!

I first went there when i was like 17 and i loved it you never really hear the same music like other clubs its more for people who just love to dance and the drag shows are great you just have to experience it for yourself I still go and I love it everytime i go.

I think I yawned about 8 times there

So this is my first review as well as the first club to attend in New York. I am from Texas. A city of about 80,000 people. The first thing I noticed about this spot was the size. We wouldn't call this a club at all. It's too small. Why do they have 2 bars??? Each one is about 6 feet away from the other. I may be stretching the truth a little but seriously. So anyhow, we stayed there for a little over two hours. After all we did get there at 12:00. It was a Thrusday night so all men over 21 got in free. That, I was greatful for. The place was filled with guys from 18-25 which was okay due to I am 23 so the age group was right. They had Go-Go dancers there. One definitley didn't know how to dance and only gained a buck. The staff all had the " I'm too good to work here" attitude. The music was okay no repeats while I was there. I got bored quickly so decided to grab a refreshment come to my surprise the drinks were too high for the amount of alcohol that was poured. I asked for more becuse the drink was weak and they stated," we only serve the amount the drink calls for." Well I've had stronger Kool-aid! That's when we left. I came to this bar because I was sent a flyer on my myspace. I will not be going there on any free or pay for admission day again.
