Fun

Fun shows, neat space, and cool go-go boys and tenders!

there's better

The crowd is very random. From sometimes cute, to usually creepy. It's great for no pretense and large space, but the go-go boys are something to be desired and each time I have been there, it smells...let's just say, dirty, not in the good way.

Chelsea in the E. Village

It's been said that Barracuda in Chelsea was modeled after a E. Village bar. Ther reverse is true for Urge. It's 'trendier', cleaner (sort of), has nice decor, and the ubiquitous muscle go-go boys will make you feel like your 5 blocks west and 14 blocks north. The crowd has gotten older, mid 30's, but in general it's a good looking crowd. The drink prices are average, but they do a 4-10p 2 for one happy hour (every day I think). They have some special eves which are fun, Sunday's has Deperarate Houswives, Weds has Money Wheel. No cover. The bathrooms are a bit rank and one has a trough if you're into that.
