The Eagle is hot, especially on the weekends. I just can't get enough. Anyone there last Saturday night? Good times. ;-)

A Classic Eagle Leather Bar

The Color is Black, the Justification is Honesty, the Material is Leather, the Fantasy is Danger, the Aim is Ecstacy (paraphrasing Sontag). Classic Leather as only NYC can cater to - eye-popping bartenders, out-of-control (later) bathrooms, dark spots, endless cruising, too much, too hot, and lots of fun. Generally quiet weekdays when I've been there, hopping on Fridays and Saturdays with virtually any taste catered to. If you're shy, probably is a problematic place, but if you're type-A, boisterous with an exhibitionistic edge, a trip. And we're speaking real leather feel. Worth a special trip, but be warned - primarily during a special event or weekends.

Not Great

a bit of an odd place, last time i was there its was hopping (3 years ago) this time 4 guys in bar, very friendly staff but it was very quite at at time, no leather or the crowd that i remembered for last visit, we did pop back but it was the same, not sure what was going on ?

There's no leather bar like the Eagle. When it's nice outside, make your way up to the roof. Def one of my favorite places to go in the summer!
