Cookshop, known for fine dining, is located in one of New Yorks fastest changing gay 'hoods. North and south of Cookshop, the brownstones of the Chelsea Historic District line the blocks between 19th and 22nd streets while New Yorks newest park, the Highline, is finished right across the street. West Chelsea is also home to many of New Yorks most influential art galleries.

Best Brunch
This is the place to see and be seen- plus the food is out of this world good. Great place to eat at the bar if you're lucky enough to get a spot. Hip, mixed crowd, but very well heeled and high brow. Regarding cocktails, which are a must here, I recommend the Sweet Salty Dog.
