What we say
Upscale midtown lounge. Vodka, broadway, drag.
Good music and friendly people at this new midtown martini lounge. Gets crowded later in the night with broadway performers and the Hellsea crowd.

I have only been once, on Holloween. It was a young but friendly group- hardly a crowd. I was groped in the first minute and not in a good way....more of a creepy intrusive way. The bartender was surprised that I ordered vodka on the rocks...but I thought that was the point. I would go again but as a starter place just in case a back up plan was needed.

I go to NYC once a month... this is the perfect place to start! Cheap STRONG drinks... try their infusion vodkas... The stuff is extremely friendly! Can't wait for my next trip! The door people are so nice and funny!

OMG!
finally visited this place with friends, came in around nine PM, right after the happy hour. It was pretty empty. decided to stay for a while and in about an hour, by 10 the people started to come in. the most beautiful guys , I mean GORGEOUS!!! bY 10:30-11 the place was packed with awesome people. I saw the winner of the Top Model competition come in with an entourage, many familiar faces from the broadway scene, etc. what realy blew me away was the flavored vodka! You must try the cranberry or peach martini!!! they have about 15, but I will try the rest on future visits. this place is a jem! I am a true fan! will make sure all my friends check it out. the place is sooo hot, they even have an ice bar to keep the drinks cold.

Place was closed but said it was open on it's website, so better to call than waste the money I did taking a cab to only find it closed!

In Croatian, vlada means government or power. But then I found out it's the nickname of the Russian owner. But you know what that means....great drinks! The dual-level layout is great, as is the music, energy and crowd (and by crowd, I mean boys and their admirers). We stop by every time we're in NYC and have never been disappointed.
