BEST DRAG SHOW IN NYC and NICEST STAFF
Vlada is one of those hidden gems. it's been in business for about 7 years now and still remains loyal to it's original customers. This bar is great because it still has very reasonable cocktails, amazing infused vodkas and really has a great lounge feel. Its one of those places you can actually have a conversation and chill with friends. They have a fabulous menu for food..a very cute and NICE staff (this is rare) and they have some great shows throughout the week-especially on Sunday nights SLURP with PAIGE TURNER, running for over 2 years! come play at Vlada!
best vodka drinks in town
the cute bartenders serve up more than a dozen varieties of infused vodkaincluding pear, ginger, grapefruit, cranberry and pepper (strong stuff!)
Sexyyyy
Between the sexy staff and customers and the special drinks (one of the bartenders made me something with ginger vodka, then pomegranate, then....it gets a little hazy :-P) this is my favorite place to go. Good happy hour and good late night crowd. Music is better than the typical Top 40 you could hear on any radio station.
Work Vlada!
Monday Night Partaaay!
Wow! Besides being a little hung(over), Vlada is awesome! Where else are you going to find a dance party that goes like this till 4AM on a Monday? The rapper DJ was awesome, the bartenders were sweet (and hot... like a pepper-ha!), and the music and crowd was awesome! I brought two of my girlfriends, and even they had the time of their lives dancing!
Night!!!!
After having a not so good time bar hopping in hells kitchen i went with my friends to posh. My mood changed completely. The music was upbeat and original (not just the same tired old top 40 every gay bar plays on a loop all month). Although it was really crowded no one was shoving people out of the way to walk through. The staff made me laugh and noticed me despite the fact they were incredibly busy and the drinks they made were excellent. Everyone was dancing and having fun and i forgot all about being cranky earlier in the night. Thanks Vlada!
Depends on the night
First of all the place is really small. I found that most of the bars in new york were. Probably because of the price of real estate. It might have been about 800 square feet with one bar. No dance area unless something happens upstaris but upstairs was closed the three times we went. Saturday was full, lots of people. We went on sunday night and the place had about 15 older women (60's ish) in "sunday dress" and we promptly turned around and left. Strange place....
to see and be seen
very trendy upscale establishment with a fun hip bar crowd and music to match, definitely a midtown must and the staff and patrons are some of nyc's hottest
