Townhouse

(114 Ratings)
A formal lounge for older gentleman and their admirers.
This east side institution feels more like an old time upscale gentleman's club than a bar. There's lots of sitting areas for conversation, nice large bars and music is in the background. You're also bound to find a few younger guys who "depend on the kindness of strangers".

Upscale bar with a friendly older crowd. I often end the night here listening to the piano after Oscar Wildes.

Amazing

Went to the townhouse with my partner and were pleasantly surprised. We immediately made our wsy into the piano bar and had a great time. The stsff was wonderful and the atmisphere was perfect. Didnt hurt thst the array of men was across the board. Older and ypunger, the mux wsd great. WE WILL BE BACK.

Great Friday Night!

I stopped in last Friday. I was in the City after a week at a work training. I had scheduled a night in NYC as a treat before heading back to Maine. I had a ball. The people were very friendly and the piano gave me a nice smile. I immediately joined in the singing. Later I wandered around and found the downstairs bar and met a very sweet hot man named Jim. We went upstairs and sang some more before heading off to my hotel. Couldn't ask for a better night.
