Brooklyn Queer Picnic + Clothing Swap

It's the last Brooklyn Queer Social picnic of the season! Come out to Prospect Park for a relaxed afternoon with old friends and new faces. Please bring what you can to contribute: a favorite snack or drink, a picnic blanket, or napkins and disposable cups and plates. And by all means bring people!

We'll also have a clothing swap for bodies of all sizes and shapes at this event! Clear out your closet and get cute looks for the fall. The folks organizing the clothing swap will donate whatever's left over so you don't even have to bring anything home! Please bring laundered clothing, if you can, or contact Claire Cramer if you can't.

We'll stake out our space at 2pm in the Long Meadow, near the Picnic House. The 6pm end time is just a suggestion — we'll go as late as people stick around.

- Be proactive about asking for pronouns.
- Don't assume anyone's gender.
- Open containers of alcohol are still illegal in the park so if you drink, be mindful of putting people at risk of police interaction.
