In Defense of Glitter and Rainbows

Order tickets via Eventbrite: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/in-defense-of-glitter-and-rainbows-tickets-25326473163 The mother-daughter relationship is readily explored in the premiering theatrical play, In Defense of Glitter and Rainbows, written by debuting playwright V. True Rodriguez. With an over-saturation of male and female relationships in the theatre, Rodriguez, wanted to flesh out the foundation of sisterhood, especially in women of color. The origin of most female connections is the mother-daughter link and there is hardly a stronger bond, understanding, or basis. In Defense of Glitter and Rainbows is a declaration of courage; the courage to love and let go, to get out of our own way, to keep climbing.
