Town Crier Borna Sammak May 14th - June 12th, 2016 Opening Reception: Saturday May 14th, 6-9pm American Medium is pleased to present Town Crier, a new show of painting and sculpture by Borna Sammak. Town Crier will be on view from May 14th - June 12th, 2016, with an opening reception on May 14th from 6-9 pm. "Sammak dismantles comprehensible meaning in his sculptures by acknowledging the absurdity of his source material even as his work in part pays homage to it." – Elspeth Walker, Daily Serving, 2014 Borna Sammak has had two solo exhibitions at JTT in New York, and has participated in two person and group exhibitions at Oko, Andrea Rosen, The High Museum, The National Gallery of Victoria, Gagosian, Marianne Boesky, Foxy Production, Fjord, Nudashank, American Medium, Charlie Horse Gallery and the Utah Museum of Contemporary Art.
