SUNDAY SESSIONS: Tribeca Film Festival: The Show of Shows: 100 Years of Vaudeville, Circuses and Carnivals

Sunday Sessions presents the North American premiere of documentary film The Show of Shows: 100 Years of Vaudeville, Circuses and Carnivals, directed by Benedikt Erlingsson (U.K., Iceland). Benedikt Erlingsson brings us a world of imagination with a compendium of unseen archival footage of circus performers, cabaret acts, and fairground attractions. The films are set to a haunting electronic score composed by members of Sigur Rós in collaboration with Hilmar Örn Hilmarsson. The film is presented on a loop from noon to 3:30 PM. The screening at 4PM is followed by a conversation and Q&A with director Bendikt Erlingsson and Frédéric Boyer, Artistic Director of the Tribeca Film Festival. This screening is presented in conjunction with The Tribeca Film Festival.
