Mx. Bond (Justin Vivian Bond) and friends are producing a benefit for the Ali Forney Center. Justin Vivian is gorgeous and spectacularly funny performer. I am a huge fan, Mx is my trans-crush. The benefit will take place at the Joe's Pub, which is super because the venue is just so great and so New York. Ali Forney Center, center for LGBT homeless youth was destroyed by the hurricane Sandy. We raised $300 for the Center during our Elections Party. Tragically, 25% of teens are rejected by their families when they come out and many of them end up on the streets. Homeless LGBT teens are facing violence in ordinary shelters and on the streets.
