A bizarre space, and not in a good way. On Sunday night -- their big party -- no more than 20 guys there, of which 2 were attractive. You don't even get your own key to a locker. Someone watches the lockers for you. The biggest waste of $40 in my life.
Nice and Clean
I liked the place, it's clean, people is very nice, there few hot guys, a little for everybody. Not many people get there, may be for the price, also no much people knows about it, but you def would have some fun, I saw that they were having $20 entry before 8 for some sunday, to bad they don't do it any more, i bet more people will be willing to go more often if they keep it like that before 8pm
Great Place
Staff is very Friendly. Comfortable environment to relax or meet other people. No attitude. Zero Judgement

You'll be Glad You Came ;)
I've been to a few bathhouses in Europe & SF but am not a regular goer. I haven't been to one in about 10 yrs and actually find them a bit uncomfortable. But I thought Tandem sounded intriguing so I thought I'd give it a go and I had a great time! The staff was very friendly and accommodating; I like the BYOB policy and there were plenty of mixers. I suppose like any place the crowd is hit or miss and the Sunday night I went, was a hit! It was a fairly diverse bunch of everyone from boys to men. There was a buffet which initially I thought was strange, but after playing for a few hours it was nice to have something to eat. There is a dancefloor with taped music piped in which kind of creates a deadzone, maybe a dancer on the stripper pole would liven that up. I did find access to the upstairs a bit awkward. It was accessible only by a tight winding staircase which can be a bit precarious for anyone in a towel and flip flops, but I'm a fit athlete so I managed it, however, less fit people might find it dangerous or impossible. The only suggestion I might make is in the way of staffing. There was really only one attendant to check people into the locker room (in the back), man the bar (up front) and replenish condoms & lube (in the middle & upstairs). There were times when I wanted to get in my locker or get a fresh towel and I had to get the attendant or when I wanted to a drink I had to retrieve him from the locker room. Also, there were a few time I went to get condoms & lube - lucky me ;) and they were all gone. Even in a bathhouse it's a bit awkward to have to ask someone for those supplies. I would have been happier if that were proactively replenished but that was minor and hopefully fixable with this feedback. Lastly, the $40 admission charge makes this something i won't do regularly but it's worth it if you can afford it.
