refuting inaccurate criticism

Before I chose to visit an all men's “club”, I read the reviews on this site. At first I had doubts about Tandem because there was a lengthy, horrendous write-up. There is also another lengthy, but positive, review. Barenaked is ridiculously inaccurate, and Shynn accurately refutes Barenaked's harsh and unreasonable criticism. Tandem is outstanding in all areas: staff congeniality, cleanliness and atmosphere. The food is an unexpected and welcome treat. Barenaked, I've been to hole-in-the-wall clubs with activity in the basement, and the seediness is appropriate atmosphere. But Tandem looks like an annex to a luxury hotel and earns 5 stars. By evening's end, I did not have a good experience, however. It was not the staff that was indifferent, but the patrons. I'm old-fashioned: Conversation is foreplay; no emotional connection, no sexual response. But I can't blame Tandem, can I, Barenaked? To paraphrase Shakespeare, The fault is not in the stars, dear Barenaked, but in ourselves. As for writing reviews, I avoid participating because they are time-consuming and thankless experiences. However, a serious injustice has been committed to Tandem which needs to be remedied, especially if it involves the fate of a business enterprise. Consider a motive: The unfair reviewer may be affiliated with Tandem's competition. I can think of two solutions, one involving this website. Someone from this website should visit Tandem. Or Barenaked should be given a guest pass so that he can reevaluate his review. And if he refuses to return (which I'm sure that he won't), then his review should be appropriately removed. Review sites serve purposes. They are a layman's version of the Better Business Bureau. But the BBR acts as intermediary and does not blindly accept one point of view. Otherwise, the power of a BBC can be abused. Which unfortunately is what is occurring to Tandem.

full of old guys

I was attracted by the good reviews about this place. So, I ignored the negative feedback and went to this place last night. THE PLACE: I find the place is smaller than I expected. There's a dance floor with pole that no one goes. Clean bar and dining area. Private rooms both sides on the hallway, with thin wall. You can hear what's happening in the next room. There are no condoms and lube provided in each private room. It will be great if they also provide the condoms and lube in the room. That way, if you forgot to bring your condom or run out of it, there's always available within the reach. The beds were clean, no smell. The dark room was not that dark, which good, so you can image the guy/s touching you. Also, a room floored by bed with video of guys having sex. Like dark room but brighter due to the video playing. The locker did not look as clean as I expect, also the shower with only 2 shower heads working, the flooring was kinda sticky at first. But did not feel the same on my second wash up. The toilet and powder room have mouthwash and lotion. The second floor is too small, and look like not clean. Continuation of private rooms but have no door. So, everyone can watch you. Cant stand the place so I stayed at the first floor. Rating is 3 out of 5. THE FOOD: the buffet was composed of rice, fried chicken, beef stew, bread (did not eat these, since I already had my dinner). But looking at these, I was glad I ate before going there. Finger foods were cheese roll (cant taste the cheese, all wrap), chicken nuggets that super dry and no taste, another that I dont know what it was but the taste was good. There were juices and sodas available. Just asked the guy at the bar. Rating is 2 out of 5. THE STAFFS: friendly and attentive. Always giving smile. Not rude. Rating 4 out of 5. THE CROWD: few guys, not more than 20. Majority were in their 40s and above. I think only 4 of us in 20s and 2 were in mid-30. Guys were not in good shape. Exclude me, only 4 or 5 shown hitting the gym. The old guy were persistent. They kept on hitting on me and other young guys even though several times they were declined. Another thing, majority of the guys here were into barebacking. Tried to hook up with few it guys but ended kissing and sucking. They did want to use condoms. Rating 1 out of 5. Recommendation: for first time experience like me, you can try. But never go back again.

Is this place generally busy

I've read all of the review and am interested in going with my partner one of these sunday night. I was wondering if any could give me some information about attendance at this event. Not that I wouldn't go anyway, but was wondering if word of mouth is helping fill up this venue, since it's unique. Thanks

WORTH ALL THE MONEY, ... WE NEED MORE PLACE LIKE THIS

I went to Tandem a week ago for the first time, i went to their website and i heard about it so I decided to check it out. I really didn't know what to expect ... Well i was pleasantly surprise by the atmosphere, very relaxed, the staffs are very cool they feel like friends lol ... they really make you comfortable. The place is really big and very, very clean . I like the locker room policy. there's an attendant in charge, you don't have to worry about carrying a key or loosing it and the attendant is very reliable . A lot is going on in the club on the first level there's a lounge with leather couches, big video screens playing porn and a dance floor, some people just seat there watching porn, have a drink, dance, j/o, even fuck there ... then there's a nice dinning area with a buffet, (Surprisingly the food was very good), you can watch regular tv in this area, there's also a juice bar, they don't have liquor but you can bring your own ( I wish I knew) . Now the fun part, there's a long hallway with private rooms, you can sit in the couch in the hallway and just chill watching what's going on, there's a big orgies room with a big tv screen inside, there's also a dark room, on the upper level there's more rooms, 2 of them got what they call "love Chairs", you can do a lot of crazy sexual things on these chairs . Of course there's showers, lockers, they provide condoms and lube etc... Over all a very nice experience, everybody was friendly it was quiet bz. I really want to thanks the owner for putting a place like this together, we really need this in the city, we running out of option. There's something for everybody here, i can't believe how someone can ever have a bad time here, I'll be back again and again for sure. In this time of hard economy, this is definitely a good deal vs what you got. I highly recommend Tandem to anyone that want to have a good time and not afraid to spend $40.
