New York Marriott East Side (Closed Permanently)

(2 Ratings)
Spacious rooms and friendly service
Newly renovated, this Marriott offers surprisingly large rooms, a new health club and an excellent lounge with a terrace. The location is just outside of the hustle and bustle of midtown but only blocks from Grand Central.

A Great Hotel

This is where my partner and I stay every time we visit The City. The staff is it's most outstanding feature. Helpful, fun and efficient, are but a few of accolades bestowed on this wonderful Hotel. The building is the only other building in NYC designed and built by the architect of the Empire State Building, and the many underplayed Art Deco influences are to be seen everywhere. The Rooms are newly remodeled, but still stylistically pleasing. The beds are THE BEST, the most comfortable bed and linen you could sleep on. Close to everything in Midtown. Hint: request a room ending in 9 ie: 609, 1209, 1609 etc. These seem to be the largest of the rooms on each floor.
