The Best Art Museum in the World

This museum's collection is encyclopaedic, from the earliest Ancient Greek scultpure to the most contemporary arts works. The collection of Dutch masters is fantastic. New visitors are well advised to take the free tours given by knowledgeable volunteers.

It is a magical place

Huge lines and one holidays and weekends, so be ready for that. Please don't miss the Greek/Roman exhibit. Make sure that you have enough time to really appreciate everything you can see here. And so you know, you can have lunch here too.

Metro a great place

The Metro is a great place, have only had one problem there. First time I was ever asked to purchase alcohol to get a glass of tap water in a bar was in the Rainbow room at Metro. When I asked the bartender wanted to know why I was sweating... had just got off the dance floor. So if you miss that discriminating treatment from the straight world, it is possible to find it in the Rainbow room.

Impressive

Impressive is the only thing that sums up the Met. From the Egyptian temple that is built indoors, the rooftop garden to the European art that spans the last 500 years you can find something that will interest you. A note is the admittance fee, it says suggested.
