Ugh
Too many diners looked like they walked off a Shaft movie set. But at least they filled seats. Friday at 9pm, it was about 80% empty. Entree was ok, Caesar salad was about what you get at McDonald's. Service was cloddy.
Unprofessional staff and dried out, shriveled up vegetables
Worst service imaginable! Were it not for the location on a busy street corner with outdoor seating they would not survive. Had to ask three times for silverware and napkins - from the same server! He then blamed it on the lazy bus staff who, in his words, were on "siesta." Interesting comment coming from an Asian server. Overall, a very negative experience and considering the cost of the food (VERY overpriced for what you got), I would highly recommend NOT going to this restaurant. There are better options up and down (and across) the street.
I Love this Place
I went a couple times this past winter. To be honest both times all I ate was their lobster lasagna. It was fantastic. Inexpensive, lots of lobster and HUGE portion ( I even took some home one time). Both times had great service at the bar.
Excellent Food
You must stop there to eat. Good prices, nice atmosphere and great staff. My food was wonderful and my partner got one of the many lasagna choices and it was really good. I would visit there again.
Lasagna Done Well!
This is definitely a good spot to eat at. I ate outside on the 20th Street side. If you're going to eat outside, try to eat on the 8th Avenue side. I was sitting too close to cars while I was eating. However, I was able to peek at some of the gorgeous guys that were walking up and down 8th Ave. I ate the Vegetarian Plain Lasagna. It was very good! I also drank their Banana Pina Colada. You must try that Banana Pina Colada!
