Shock of the Old
There's a certain irony of course in 'comfort' food as elevated eating - meatloaf and mashed, steak and fries, iceberg chunk lettuce. Irony doesn't work when you see exactly the same menu at so many gay restaurantes. Mid-end Bistro food well-prepared, unsurprising drinks, friendly reliable staff. Just not a place to go to to have the palate tickled. Identical menu, format, and style to a dozen ironic 'comfort food' restaurants in LA, SF, NYC, Chicago and the like. A Gay "Houstons" if you will with the price tag to go along. Nice eye candy in the crowd.
Delicious food Delicious staff
While the place may not be totally gay, every male I saw in the place was gay. The food was excellent, must tries are the macaroni and cheese and the chicken and waffles. The staff was very nice and attractive, and the drinks were very strong!
