Where there's always a fiesta

Traditional Mexican fare is served at this favorite Midtown cantina. For 35 years, this hole-in-the-wall has been serving up stellar dishes and famous drinks. Known for their specialty 'Mama Margarita', there is always a party at Arriba Arriba.

STAY AWAY!

STAY AWAY! They do you a FAVOR by seating you. Their arrogance will DESTROY your appetite. The food is OK but the wait staff does NOT try to please and can be down right ABUSIVE! There are PLENTY of good Mexican restaurants in NYC so why go to one that abuses the customers and shows NO appreciation for your business? STAY AWAY!!

All about the margaritas

This place is bustling and loud and is good for comfort mexican food. They aren't breaking any new ground, the food is good and reliable, but you really come here for good margaritas and fun food with friends.

Afternoon Oaisis, Evening Anarchy

The food here is fantastic. At night, if you want to take out friends to celebrate, and you don't really need to talk to them, this place is perfect. It gets real loud though. But I most love Arriba Arriba during the day. The prices are real low, the margaritas and the mole both just as tasty, and there's a laid-back vibe that's very different than the nighttime insanity.
