      Reliable, fun diner
Nothing fancy but just very, very comfortable. Decent prices, good staff. Seriously, a comfort joint in Chelsea worth many visits.

Looking for a spot to catch a bite, snuggled in the middle of the block is a nice diner with simple fair, good courteous service. Great place to chat with friends and work out the days stress without the hussle of going to a local bar.

      Friendly and filling
The morning after a long flight to the UK in an area I'm not too familiar with, I dive bombed into the first Cafe I saw. Big menu. Helpful, friendly staff. Good service. Fair cost. Started my first day in NYC very well. Will definitely go again.

      LOVE THE DISH !!!!!
GREAT FOOD with a huge menu! Lots of specialty drinks (try the key lime martini!!!), daily specials, great burgers, pasta dishes, sandwiches, healthy stuff and lots more. Prices for both food and drinks are super reasonable. What's best is the, nice, professional, attentive waiters. Andres the owner is almost always there with a warm welcome and is always sure customers are 110% satisfied. Definitely a big step above regular diner food. Check this place out for sure!

Honey, this is the place to eat at in New York! The food is excellent! The owner is a sweethart. A lot of the waiters are very good looking. This is my favorite restaurant! It can be very romantic, especially upstairs in the back by the window. The Dish is where the "boys" eat at! If you eat in the front, looking out the window, you'll have a great view of the 8th Avenue gay strip.

What? Another 'comfort food' restaurant in NYC? Is it Cafeteria? Is it Elmo? No, it's Dish - meatloaf and mashed, pan-roasted chicken, steak and fries. A more varied menu than most comfort-food restaurants (apparently endemic in the gay world), friendly attentive staff and good drinks. Food perfectly prepared, and with an accent on low-carb lifestyle feed for bodybuilders leaning out. Less expensive than other comfort stations, would recommend this as the best alternative of the bunch.

      Love The Dish
I go all the time. It's better than a bar for seeing hot guys and those young Cypriot waiters make it even hotter. It's my home away from home. Andreas makes me feel like part of The Dish family. I'm never disappointed with the food or service.

      Great in a pinch
As long as you're not looking for fine dining, The Dish is great. A bit of an upscale diner, but the food is always really good. Service with a smile, too...

Always a good meal, nicely and warmly served
Been going here for years, since I arrived in a party of 12 and only had to wait 30 second for them to put the table together. Andreas is a fab host. Never had a bad meal. Always good value. Varied menu.
