The Jane Hotel

(4 Ratings)
Funky nautical-themed hotel

If you are looking for a fun, funky and cheap place to stay in New York, Jane is the ticket. Rooms built like ship's cabins (and just as small) feature free internet, television and dvd player. The bathrooms are shared, hostel style. It's not a luxury hotel, but it is a great choice for the adventurous who want a unique New York experience.

Did you know that the survivors of the Titanic stayed here after its sinking in 1911?

fun

I spent one weekend at The Jane and had a wonderful time. LOTS of young-ish Europeans, friendly staff, fantastic location- 2 blks from Hi-line park but, well away from mid-town's hassel.....NEVER a problem catching a cab even over the busy Columbus Day weekend.
