Homogenic is the third international solo album by Icelandic musician Björk, released in September 1997. "If not the greatest electronic album of all time, it's certainly the greatest of its decade" - Sal Cinquemani
Our audiophile sound system is made up of (2) Klipschorn Loudspeakers, (2) Klipsch SW-115 Subwoofers, Rega Exact MM cartridge, Rega P9 Turntable, Moon LP310 Grounding, Audio Note UK Jinro Shochu power amp & pre-amp, AudioQuest Interconnects and cabling.
Magick City (our new home!) is acoustically sublime. Theater curtains surround the event space dampening errant echoes. The wood floor was reclaimed from the legendary Roseland Ballroom bringing with it 80 years of New York history and good times. Klipschorn “K-horns” are the featured speakers which, combined with our Classic Album Sundays system, will supply a warm, clear, and luxurious wash of sound.
The drink menu includes delicious concoctions by Magick City such as Gingerbeet (ginger + beet) & Gold Turmeric (turmeric + lemongrass) Kombucha cocktails, wine, and Old Blue Last Beer while supplies last.
