Free Self-Defense Class for LGBTQ people!

In honor of pride season, we're offering a self-defense course for the LGBTQ community! Learn effective self-defense techniques to escape a violent altercation, and discuss how to reduce your chances of being in one, in the first place. We'll discuss everything from stranger violence to domestic violence. The class is free, open to the public, and will be co-facilitated by other LGBTQ people. And we wrap up with refreshments and community building! No previous experience necessary. Space is limited.

To register, call or email with your full name, phone number, and email address: 718-418-9892 // [email protected]

Class starts at 3 pm, please arrive a few minutes early.

*Refreshments to follow.*
**Note: Unfortunately, our building is not accesible for wheelchair users.

If you can't make it, don't worry! You are welcome to try regular classes for free, any time. Check out our website for the class schedule: http://tokarate.com/classes.php.
