2017 NYPD Pride Celebration

Join NYPD Police Commissioner James P. O'Neill and the Gay Officers Action League NY as we celebrate pride month and 35 years of serving with pride.


This FREE ticketed event is open to the public and will include keynote speakers, live entertainment, light food, refreshments and the presentation of awards at 1 Police Plaza.


Honorees include:
Keynote speaker and GOAL Visibility Award recipient, TV personality Andy Cohen


Ally Award, NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Administration, Cathleen S. Perez


Ally Award, NYPD Police Officer Michael Hance (Posthumously)


Dress uniform is strongly encouraged for Uniformed Members of Service.


The event is free and open to the public, please invite your friends and family.

All UMOS who plan to attend should be in full dress uniform. If you are scheduled to work this day please let your supervisor know in advance that you would like to attend and you will be post changed from your command to 1PP for the event.

A finest message has been sent out in regards. Family and friends are invited to celebrate with us so please feel free to bring them along.
