First Fridays
Museum admission and gallery programs are free the first Friday evening of the month (except September and January). Enjoy gallery talks, music performances, and sketching, or simply find yourself in the company of the Old Masters and art enthusiasts from around the world. Please note that children under 10 will not be admitted.
Principal support for First Fridays is provided by the Stavros Niarchos Foundation with major funding from Tai-Heng Cheng and Cole Harrell, an anonymous donor, and the Gilder Foundation.
First Fridays also are supported, in part, by public funds from the New York City Department of Cultural Affairs in partnership with the City Council.
