"Play" confronts anonymity in eternal life. Our lustful preoccupations are buried in a monotony of syncopation and rhythmic currents that echo through the shackled characters and haunt the mortal.
Ohio Impromptu
Directed by Ruis Woertendyke
Two old men, mirror images of each other, with long white hair and long black coats sit at right angles to each other in white chairs at a white rectangular table. The Reader tells a story written in past tense, about a man seeking relief after the loss of a loved one. The play is akin to Krapp's Last Tape.
Come and Go
Directed by Annie G. Levy
In this brief and beautiful "dramaticule," three women share some secret and terrible revelation about each other. Calling to mind the three Witches of Macbeth, Chekhov's Three Sisters, and the ethereal three fates, the women inhabit a melancholy yet hopeful world, where the foreboding future is tempered by the sweetness of nostalgia.
Rough for Theatre II
Directed by Chad Chenail
Faculty advised by Cosmin Chivu
When two lawyers walk in on a man about to jump from a 6th story window, they challenge just how much control an individual has over their own fate.
