The GLAAD National Board of Directors, President Herndon Graddick, Event Co-Chairs Christian Hagedorn and James Kleeman, and the Planning Committee invite you to join us for our annual art fundraiser – GLAAD Art Auction, formerly known as OUTAuction. This year’s event will be curated by Daneyal Mahmood. With over 100 unique pieces of art to bid on throughout the evening, all funds raised support GLAAD’s culture changing work. From standing up for Ellen DeGeneres when anti-gay activists called for her to be fired, to working alongside an Ohio mom to get the Boy Scouts to end its policy banning gay scouts and scout leaders, GLAAD is sharing the stories that move us closer to equality. Art previously sold at GLAAD Art Auction include works by Pablo Picasso, Herb Ritts, Steven Klein, Ryan McGinness, Wassily Kandinsky, Marc Chagall, Ross Bleckner, Patrick McMullan, Annie Leibovitz, Karim Rashid, Mario Sorrenti, Peter Max, Rosie O’Donnell and many others.
