Best Place in NYC

This bar is the best, relaxed crowd, great drinks, good team of employees. This bar is welcoming to everyone. Not a week foes by where I am not there with friends.

Friendly, Fun & Cheap

I first visited Pieces in the late 90s when I was still in college. Man, it was a real dump. Things have changed for the better. What I liked about Pieces back in 1999 was that it was almost an attitude-free zone, with a kind staff and very inexpensive drinks. What I did not like was that it was dirty, and that, besides the Tuesday Karaoke, not much was really going on, Pieces is quite the survivor, it would seem, and today, they have managed to keep the chill vibe and good value even as they've added parties and shows every night, and then through their big renovations about two years ago. Now, Pieces is a sure bet for a good time, a bar you could take your parents, but won't, because you're too confident you're gonna find someone to go home with. ;-)

Yuck

This used to be a friendly fun bar. Now the owner has something up his bum and has a stereotypical bar like attitude you'd expect from twinks ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE BAR...not as the bar owner. Never going back. And I used to drop at least 100 a week in that place..good luck.
