This Hell's Kitchen bar is excellent for catching a post-performance drink and meeting some of the city's most Broadway-obsessed gays.

Nice neighborhood bar
Enjoyed a Sunday night cocktail. Service was great music was nostalgic. Good drinks. Fun people.
Divey Chill No Attitude good time!
The Saloon is fantastic. It is always pretty packed with a mix clientele of young, old, thinks, daddies, bears, leather, jocks, and all in between. The bartenders are super friendly and always have free popcorn. It is non sceney non cruisey and a damn good time!
Worst bar ever
I think I got the bartender in a bad day, but he was really rude to me. This was my first time in a bar in this country and I had no idea how tip works, so instead of a friendly drink I got a "thanks for nothing" and a ugly face. Not enough after I took my drink he started to talk about me with the people who were sitting at the bar. I felt terrible and ashamed. And the drink wasn't even good! The music was horrible too, depressing, but fit the place. Very small and not comfortable. Left after I finished my first drink and don't intend to come back ever again.
Cheers!
My favorite by far. NOT pretentious. Not anything, really, but a saloon with a great jukebox, a friendly clientele, and some truly superior bartenders. Excellent Happy Hour too.
