NewFest's programming includes the annual NewFest: The New York Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, & Transgender Film Festival, one of the most comprehensive showcases of international LGBT film/video in the world; NewFest's Filmmakers Forum, a panel and workshop series bringing audiences together with filmmakers and industry; NewFest@BAM, an annual "Best of NewFest" showcase at the landmark Brooklyn Academy of Music's Rose Cinemas; NewDraft, NewFest's screenplay competition and reading series; and The Logo Lounge, a space where audiences, filmmakers, and attending film/TV industry meet and network during NewFest.
