Cookshop, known for fine dining, is located in one of New York’s fastest changing gay 'hoods. North and south of Cookshop, the brownstones of the Chelsea Historic District line the blocks between 19th and 22nd streets while New York’s newest park, the Highline, is finished right across the street. West Chelsea is also home to many of New York’s most influential art galleries.
