Queering Immigration Conference 4: In Solidarity
Sep 22-24, 2017 in New York
The Queering Immigration Conference is the largest gathering of LGBTQI immigrants/previously detained/asylum seekers, organizers, service providers, legal workers, healthcare providers, community healers, and more in the world. We will highlight emerging strategies and new frameworks that focus on ending violence and provide resources for LGBTQI asylum seekers/ detainees/ undocumented/ and immigrants.

This year marks our second international conference, with folks based in four different countries attending! This also marks our first convening that will focus on international strategy to end LGBTQI detention. We look forward to seeing you there!

September 22nd is the Queering Immigration Awards
September 23rd is the Queering Immigration Film Program at Trans Anthology Film Archives
September 24th is a complete day of international strategy to end LGBTQI/ HIV+ detention

Early bird registration open June 1, 2017 and closes on August 1, 2017
​Workshop proposals and scholarship applications are due August 1st, 2017.
Scholarship priority will be given to those that submit a workshop proposals.​
International proposals are notified of acceptance with one week of submission
All local/ national proposals are notified of acceptance by August 7th, 2017.
