Calling amazing ladies of ALL kinds! Show us what being a Wonder Woman means to you! Join Geeksout on June 4th, 2017 at 8:30pm for Pride of the Amazon an open mic night of empowerment. Can you think of a woman that inspires you? How about a story about a woman? A song written by women for women? Share it with us. Pride of the Amazon is dedicated to inspiration, love, and inclusivity - all the things you’d find with your sisters on the island of Themyscira! Come up to the mic and read a poem, share a story, sing a song, do a scene - original or well-known, happy or sad, this is a night to let your voice be heard! The event will be hosted by Wonder Woman herself (who else?)! We can’t wait to see you there! Please note that Transmisogyny of ANY kind will NOT be tolerated. This includes reading works or sharing idea written by TERFS. Please keep that in mind when considering your piece! A real Amazon celebrates her sisters, not just her cis-ters! Free admission for performers $5 for spectators at the door
