Please join Scott Stringer and Council Member Corey Johnson, State Senator Brad Hoylman, Assembly Member Deborah Glick, Assembly Member Matthew Titone, and Council Member Ritchie Torres to support Scott's reelection campaign at an event to kick off Pride Month.
Scott co-sponsored the first marriage equality bill in the New York Assembly. He's been an outspoken supporter of GENDA since it was first introduced in 2003. In 2010, Scott chose to receive his marriage license in Connecticut as a sign of solidarity with same-sex couples who could not yet get a license in New York. And under his leadership, the New York City Pension Funds have adopted new guidelines to expand the definition of board diversity beyond race and gender to include LGBT directors.
He has stood with the LGBT community over the past two decades, and now it's time for us to stand with him and support his reelection as NYC Comptroller.
