DJ Kayper first graced the decks of Basement Bhangra when she DJed for Hard Kaur(check out Glassy on the Basement Bhangra album). But that was before she transitioned from being a Turntablist DJ and BBC radio presenter to producer Kayper and global DJ phenomena who has played internationally at festivals from Neon Carnival Coachella, Lollapalooza, SXSW, Glastonbury and Amsterdam Dance Event. Her turntable skills and stand out live shows have earned her residencies and headlines slots at some of the world's most renowned and exclusive nightclubs, including Ministry of Sound (London), Marquee (New York) and Hakkasan (Las Vegas). DJ Kayper production credits include 'Magic Faces' which gained the attention of BBC 6 music, 1Xtra, "Gimme Some" which was co-signed by Diplo and released on his label Mad Decent in 2011, 'Out My Mind', that has surpassed 2 million streams on Spotify. her first EP release on the label she collaborated with talented artists such as Jonny Winston - who features on Kayper's "What You Say", as well as Janai who guest vocals on "Terminal". Both tracks received heavy acclaim from publications such as Clash who branded "What You Say" as "an ultra-stylish piece of summertime house" as well as Hell Hound Music who commented on Kayper's "melodic and sophisticated style that only a well-seasoned producer can accomplish."
