ABOUT ORGAN RECITAL
Organ Recital is a storytelling festival that celebrates narratives of bodies, health and healthcare. For one week in February (13-19), we’re gathering together groups of folks who might otherwise never sit in a room together at JACK (a performance space in Brooklyn’s Clinton Hill) to share, listen, agitate, and activate.
In this week we will
Honor our bodies by telling and reflecting on the stories they carry
Build community with our shared hope and resilience
Bring attention to important issues in health and healthcare
Support more compassionate, comprehensive access to healthcare by addressing both internal and external barriers with compassion and creativity.
FIGHT FOR OUR BODIES!
FIGHT FOR OUR STORIES!
