Charles Duke Action Concert

The "Charles Duke Action Concert" is a way in which we as New Yorkers and citizens of the world can come together in measurable unity and action towards liberty and equality. Instead of resignation and separation, we can choose to stand for one another and come together with love supporting freedom through action. This Saturday, November 19th at 10 p.m., come and join soulful singer-songwriter/pianist/composer Charles Duke and his band of exceptional musicians for the "Charles Duke Action Concert" raising funds for the New York Civil Liberties Union. The NYCLU is a non-for-profit nonpartisan organization founded in 1951 as the New York affiliate of the American Civil Liberties Union, and is one of the nation's foremost defenders of civil liberties and civil rights. Its mission is to defend and promote the fundamental principles and values embodied in the Bill of Rights, the U.S. Constitution, and the New York Constitution, including freedom of speech and religion, and the right to privacy, equality and due process of law for all New Yorkers. 100% of ticket sales profits and donations from this concert will go towards the New York Civil Liberties Union and their efforts defending civil rights and civil liberties in New York City. A donation of $25 for each attendee will get us to our goal of $2,000. If you can't afford that any amount would be appreciated and make a difference.
