Howdy folks! The New York Shade has partnered up with our friends at Vodka Soda/Bottoms Up to bring you our FIRST EVER Flip Cup Tournament! For you NYGFLers who haven’t played in a Flip Cup Tournament before, now is your chance! Get your friends together and let’s celebrate our football family as we support the New York Shade’s journey to GayBowl 2016! You bring the thots, we’ll provide the beer & cups, and let’s get this thing poppin!! How do I sign up? We encourage you to make your own team so y’all can get your swag and ish together as a TEAM before the big day*** Quick Bits: When? Saturday, September 17th – 2PM Where? Vodka Soda/Bottoms Up Teams? 8 teams of 6 (i.e. maximum 48 people) Cost? $25/person How will the tournament work? 1. Standard flip cup rules: http://www.wikihow.com/Play-Flip-Cup 2. Standard round robin with 8 teams. Each team will play 5 games during round robin. 3. ALL teams will make playoffs and will be seeded based on performance during round robin. i.e. 1 vs. 8 / 2 vs. 7 / 3 vs. 6 / 4 vs. 5 4. Each game will consist of 3 rounds. This means you can either score 0, 1, 2 or 3 points in each game. i.e. You win 2 rounds and lose 1 round. You receive 2 points and the opposing team receives 1 point.
