He is currently a professor on the creative writing faculty at the University of Houston, where he is in reisdence each spring.
Wendy Xu is the author of Phrasis (Fence, 2017), You Are Not Dead (CSU Poetry Center, 2013), and the recipient of a Ruth Lilly Fellowship from the Poetry Foundation. Her work has appeared (or is forthcoming) in Best American Poetry, Boston Review, A Public Space, Poetry, and elsewhere.
