About the bands:
Su Yang (苏阳) - The most prominent folk-rock musician in China, who blends traditional Chinese folk art forms “Flower” and “Qinqiang Opera” with Western rock music.
Ma Di (马頔) - Ma Di is an acclaimed, young Chinese folk musician who sings about the joys and sorrows of life in Beijing.
YAKSA (夜叉) - China's foremost metal band. Their name derives from a broad class of benevolent Buddhist nature-spirits.
The Modern Sky Festival was first produced in Beijing in 2007. Today, the festival is one of 20+ large-scale music festivals produced in cities throughout mainland China by Modern Sky Entertainment, China’s leading music entertainment company.
