Redford is a reader/researcher for the CIA whose co-workers are assassinated while he is, literally, out to lunch. Is it just another day at a government office? Now on the run for his life, can our hero trust anyone? Though initially a victim of kidnapping, Faye eventually provides Redford a safe haven (and more).
