FRONT COVER Opens 8/5 for a Limited Run

After 3 years of hard work, trials and tribulations FRONT COVER is finally opening in New York City. (Shooting Dates were August-September 2013!) FRONT COVER will start showing at City Cinema Village East, New York from 8/5-8/11. There will be a Question and Answer session with the Director and Cast after the 7 PM screening on 8/5 and 8/6. As you are aware the Opening Weekend Box Office figure is very important for the future of our film. It determines how many weeks the film will play in NYC and also how many cities FRONT COVER will be screened across America. Though our society is increasingly diverse, we seem to becoming more divided and intolerant of people from different race, religion and culture. FRONT COVER comes at a poignant time as the film deals with prejudice, understanding and acceptance. Our film has enjoyed a successful festival run. It premiered at the Seattle International Film Festival, where it was nominated for the New American Cinema Award. The film was also nominated for Q Hugo Award at the Chicago International Film Festival. Recently FRONT COVER won Best Screenplay at the FilmOut San Diego Film Festival. FRONT COVER was the Opening Film of the Hong Kong Lesbian and Gay Film Festival and will be the Closing Film for the Asian American International Film Festival this July in New York. Strand Releasing is the North American distributor and Edko Films will distribute FRONT COVER in Hong Kong, with a theatrical release this coming September.
