Dance with Orlando: A Commemoration and Community Celebration for the Victims of Pulse Nightclub & Orlando!

Feeling as hollow as we have since the shooting? Come and hang with us in the park. Let's love and celebrate one another by honoring the victims of this tragedy! On Saturday night, June 12th, 49 LGBTQ+ brothers and sisters and our straight allies were victims of a senseless mass shooting at Pulse Nightclub in Orlando. Those who lost their lives simply went out that night to have a good time and to dance. To commemorate and honor the 49 victims of this shooting and to ensure their names are not forgotten we invite you to join us for an impromptu out-in-the-open celebration and light-dance party for the club-goers whose night of dancing was cut short. Join us for music, dancing, double-dutch jump rope, community interaction and a reading of the victim’s names. Gay and straight people of all ages are invited to join. Bring your rainbows, signs of support, boas, wigs and heels and come celebrate the lives lost and those we continue to live. This is a gathering for all of us! Let's show Orlando how much NYC and the global community cares!
