OSP Candlelight Prayer Service for the Victims of Pulse Nightclub

Please join us on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at 9:00 PM at the Church of St. Paul the Apostle for a prayer service for the victims of the Pulse Nightclub shootings. -- Our hearts break today for the victims of of Sunday morning's mass shooting at Pulse Night Club. As LGBT Catholics, we stand in solidarity with those who died, those who were hurt, and those who survived. We mourn alongside lovers, we cry with families, and we lament with friends who are left behind. We recognize in those lost lives our own lovers, family members, and friends, created in God's image and worthy of God's love. We pray for healing as we strive for justice. We commit ourselves to the love and hospitality of God's reign. We long for a society and Church that welcome and affirm all of God's children. We will meet as an LGBT and allied community, Christians and non-Christians alike, to remember, mourn, and pray for those whose lives were lost and affected by the attack. All are welcome.
