LGBTQ Pride Month: A Conversation with Jose Antonio Vargas

Jose Antonio Vargas is a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and Emmy-nominated filmmaker. In high-profile articles in the New York Times Magazine and Time, Vargas revealed his status as an undocumented immigrant and has since appeared widely in media, discussing his story and American citizenship. He speaks with Kevin Nadal, executive director of CLAGS: The Center for LGBTQ Studies during Pride Month. Jose will receive CLAGS' second annual Jose Esteban Munoz award for his advocacy work, which was given last year to Janet Mock. Please RSVP at the following link: https://community.gc.cuny.edu/lgbtq-pride-event Co-Sponsored with the Graduate Center Office of Public Programs.
