During the span of an unprecedented year-long residency, Carol Lipnik firmly established herself as "the queen of Pangea," as Joey Arias put it, "the Carlyle of downtown!" After a two month hiatus -- during which she completed a 3-week residency at Joe's Pub -- Lipnik returns to Pangea, and the 2015 Broadway World award-winner for "Best Alt-Cabaret Show" continues her reign.
"…a siren song to lost cosmopolitans everywhere. Dark, funny, and cosmically aligned…" - Richard Gehr, The Village Voice
"Lipnik commands her audience like a sort of downtown Joni Mitchell… whose sound is as powerful as it is strange."
- Tyler Coates, The Village Voice
