LMCC is kicking off this year’s Open Studios series at 28 Liberty with two art-filled days! Audiences are welcome to wander around LMCC’s expansive studio space, where they can experience a variety of completed and in-progress projects including paintings, sketches, photographs, sculptures, videos, works of poetry, dances, plays, and much more!
These works have all been created by 31 up and coming artists who have been in LMCC's Workspace residency program since September 2015. This event is an excellent opportunity to learn more about artists in the New York City community and to share new ideas and perspectives!
We close the two-day event on Saturday with Open Texts, where you can hear short stories, novel excerpts, and other writings that artists have created during their residencies.
Please note: some works may include sensitive material.
*During Open Texts, studios will be closed during readings.
