Blake is also a violist having been heard with the New York Pops, Little Orchestra Society, Broadway's MISERY, on the 2014 Philip Glass’ recording of “Runaway Horses,” The Tempest at the Public, Tamar of the River at Prospect Theatre (OOBC album), was a 2014 Artist in Residence at The Banff Centre, and gave the NY, Canadian, and EU premiere of Shatin’s Penelope’s Song. Blake has also been a Rob Fisher music assistant for 4 years.
