The 4 D’s of a ball: Decor, Dining, Dressup and Dancing
Decor - We will have a dedicated section in the park where we will have tables and chairs available to us. Let’s do our best to decorate it with white tablecloths, small vases with flowers and diningware.
Dining - Bring some containers of food such as salads, fruit platters etc. - something easy to carry and serve.
Dressup - goes without saying! Men, put on a tux with a bow tie or any other elegant suit. If you have white tie tails even better! Women, wear an elegant dress. Since we’ll be outside, you may not want to wear the dress that touches the floor. The band will play lots of swing music, so any attire from 1920-1940 period is appropriate as well.
Dancing - there will a Swing dance lesson and live music provided for our dancing enjoyment.
Looking forward to seeing you on Wednesday!
