Coming Out: PrEP & HIV

The Coming Out Series is an initiative to facilitate open conversations on hot button topics affecting the LGBT community in NYC and beyond including HIV/PrEP, mental health, religion and political beliefs. The first in the Coming Out series will focus on the effectiveness of HIV preventative medication, how to access it and any possible side effects. Gawker's Rich Juzwiak will moderate the conversation featuring viewpoint's from Andrew Goodman, MD, AAHIVS, Associate Director of Medicine at Callen-Lorde, Anthony Freeman, MA, Director of Monitoring, Education and Support for The LGBT Center and James Krellenstein of The Treatment Action Group.
